Agency Fees

According to the guidelines issued by the Malaysian Board of Valuers and real estate agents, we are to use the following scale of fees:

Sale of Property

Land and Buildings

i)    3% on the first RM500,000
ii)    2% on the balance over RM500,000

Chattels including Plant & Machinery

i)    10% of the proceeds

The above may be subject to a maximum discount of 30% if the sale price of the property exceeds RM20 million.

The above scale applies to any sale or purchase by way of private treaty, tender or any other mode of disposal or acquisition.

Exceeding 2 years up to 3 years

Exceeding 3 years up to 4 years

Exceeding 4 years (with option for renewal)

Exceeding 4 years (without option for renewal)

1.25 months rental

1.50 months rental

1.75 months rental

1.75 months rental


1.75 months rental plus  0.25 months rental for every additional year
